Camp of Champions

Each September, students with special needs from school districts around Pittsburgh converge on Elizabeth Forward High School football stadium for the annual Camp of Champions.

As each bus arrives, participating students are greeted by a marching band and cheerleaders. They then make their way to different activities on the football field such as throwing a pass, catching a pass, kicking a field goal, tackling a tackle dummy and more.

Play with the Pittsburgh Steelers!

While participating in these activities, the participating students have the thrill of being joined by current players from the Pittsburgh Steelers!
Once the students have had the opportunity to participate in each activity, the day culminates in the Steelers leading the students in a touchdown celebration clinic while the students receive medals for their participation.

The students then enjoy a prepared lunch and head back to their respective schools. It is truly a magical day filled with smiles, high fives, and of course touchdown dances!
